Plead For Object Return

Why did you take the object so dear to me
You know it is my favorite,
Yet you didn’t seem to care
Now where have you put it
For I would like it returned
It doesn’t belong to you
You could of asked nicely to see it;
You could of asked nicely to use it;
And now I know not to trust you,
Please return what has been taken
For the object is so dear to me

April 25th poem: Compose a poem to be delivered orally to someone who took something from you, such as your chair at an event, your good name, or an object that was actually stolen from you.
